Buford Presbyterian Church

Education has been a hallmark of the Presbyterian Church throughout our history. We believe in the value of study and learning about our faith. While this study must begin at home, the church seeks to fulfill the commitments we make at the baptism of each child to nurture them in the faith.

It is not enough to merely hear God's Word; we must delve into it deeper to gain enlightenment and further understanding of what kind of people He would have us become. This is a life-long process. Our educational opportunities begin at the kindergarten and continue through adulthood.

There is Sunday School for all ages from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Children's Sunday School Classes: Preschoolers (Ages 2-5), Elementary School Classes, Confirmation Class (8th Grade and up), Middle School Class, Senior High School Class

Adult Classes: Wide variety of ages, interests, and classroom formats. Classes include: Back to Basics Class, Bible Discovery, Parents Class, Seekers Class, and the Welcome Class. Traditional Bible Study classes are offered regularly.

Presbyterian Women Circles offer several Bible Study opportunities.

Additional Study Opportunities:

• Monday Night Bible Study (7:00 p.m.)
• Midweek Bible Study (Wednesday's 9:45-11:15 a.m.)
• Adult Bible Study
• Kerygma Class
• Other Special Classes (for example Parenting Class, Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University)
• Vacation Bible School for children in early Summer
