OUR PURPOSE
The primary purpose of Buford Presbyterian Weekday School is rooted in the scripture of Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." We believe we can be an essential tool in this training by encouraging the development of the whole child; spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We strive to provide an environment rich in personal, loving experiences that will underscore the child's unique abilities. Believing the school years are the most formative, it is our privilege to be a part of laying a Christ-like foundation in their hearts and minds.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Our school is open Monday - Friday. School hours are 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
SCHOOL CALENDAR
Our school year begins Tuesday, September 6, 2011 and ends on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Kindergarten students begin Monday, August 8, 2011. We follow the Gwinnett County Public Schools' calendar for breaks and holidays.

Monthly tuition fees are due the 1st of each month, September through May (August through May for kindergarten).
A supply/activity fee of $70.00 will be added to September’s tuition, due at Open House.
Kindergarten students will also pay a materials fee of $100.00 due at Open House.
Registration fees are equal to one month’s tuition. These fees are due at enrollment and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
DISCOUNTS
Families with more than one child enrolled will receive a 10% discount for each additional child.
Buford Presbyterian Church members will receive $20.00 off the registration fee.
A 5% discount is offered for yearly tuition paid in full by September 4, 2012.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Enrollment for the 2012-2013 begins January 18, 2012 for church members and January 19, 2012 for current students and siblings. Open registration for the community begins January 26, 2012.
All spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment applications may be obtained by contacting the school office at 770-945-6711. Applications for new students will be accepted during the month of January and held (in order received) until January 26. At this time, students will be placed in the class requested. If the requested class is not available, parents will be contacted to select another class option or accept a refund of the registration fee.
Tours are available upon request. Please contact the school office to schedule an appointment.

Our class sizes are limited to
12 students for 2 year olds through Kindergarten. Classes for
one year olds are limited to 8 children.
Our teacher/child ratios are:

LARGE
INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PLAY AREAS
Children are offered outdoor play
everyday. In the event of inclement weather, we have a large
indoor gym area for play.
ENRICHMENT
ACTIVITIES
Children are offered a
variety of enrichment activities including Music and Movement classes,
Spanish classes, weekly chapel, field trips, special visitors, holiday
parties, and special performances.
CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed to be
developmentally and individually oriented. Your child will
learn through a variety of hands-on activities and learning
experiences, including nature discoveries, science experiments,
dramatic play, music, books, art, crafts, movement, blocks, puzzles and
other manipulatives.
Classroom activities will emphasize basic Bible truths as guidelines
for moral and spiritual growth.
